One major myth? That your resume should fit on one page. Jenn clarifies that while early-career professionals might keep it concise, experienced candidates can—and should—use two pages if needed to showcase their expertise. She also emphasizes that stuffing your resume with keywords won’t get you hired; instead, focus on clear, impactful descriptions that highlight your accomplishments.

Another misconception is that a resume alone will land you the job. Jenn reminds us that networking and strategic outreach are just as critical in the hiring process. Your resume is just one piece of the puzzle.
